Item Description
Is your child creative? Do you like to work on projects with your child and have together time? If you answered yes then this is the item for you!!!
We would LOVE to have our parking spaces painted so we have a yearlong reminder of YOU! (Parents, this is like what our high school students do at Pearce and Richardson High School) You will be painting the parking spot for the 2015-2016 school year.
If you win the bid to decorate the parking space for a staff member, you will be given a sheet of special graph paper for you and your child to design the parking space. The drawing will be turned into the main office to Mrs. Houghton and then approved by our own Principal, Mrs. Aitken. After all designs have been submitted and approved Mrs. Aitken will publish two Saturday dates for families to come work on the parking spaces. Parents MUST be willing to work WITH their students in order to create a finished/polished looking final product. Hopefully this will be a tradition that will continue at PWE for years to come.
***You must purchase your own paint and Sherwin Williams Concrete Paint is the only type of paint that can be used. Best guess on potential cost of paint is around $75-$100. However, you could try and share colors with other people to save some money on supplies.
Item Special Note
Ideas for artwork include, but are not limited to, school spirit, your teacher's college alma mater, or something else that shows our positive school spirit. Music notes for the music teacher, a book cover for the librarian, the Mona Lisa for our Art Teacher... the ideas are endless! Have Fun!
This is for current PWE students only.
