Item Description
2013 Gascon Malbec - 1 bottle donated by the Schechters
A classic expression of the grape, the Don Miguel Gascon Malbec opens with intense aromas of blackberry, plum and a hint of mocha. On the palate, dark fruit flavors are finely intertwined with notes of spice, licorice and chocolate for a magnificent full-bodied Malbec. Round tannins and a plush mouthfeel lead the way to a long, velvety finish.
2012 Ranch 32 Pinot Noir - 1 bottle donated by the Schechters
Nestled on the west side of the fertile valley lies our Ranch 32, where evening coastal fogs often linger until mid-morning the following day. This natural cooling effect causes a unique lengthening of the growing season, resulting in complex flavors and intense varietal character.
Francis Ford Coppola Claret - 2 bottles donated by the Tabudlos
Our prize offering, the ultra premium Claret, sports a label that honors the first Cabernet Sauvignon blended in a Bordeaux style by Gustave Niebaum in 1910. Claret is a term originally coined by the British to describe Cabernet-based wines. This Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc blend is alluring and sophisticated; it is memorably lush with a tapestry of smooth tannins and succulent flavors of wild berries, plum and anise. Borrowing tradition of European wineries, we add gold netting to bottle to signify outstanding quality of wine.
