Mulberry Mom, Christy English is the owner & founder of The Bay Area Acting Studio and Christy English Management.
At the Bay Area Acting Studio young actors will work on camera and on stage. They will learn the craft of acting, learn how to audition, build confidence, meet new friends while having a blast!
The young actors will learn the difference between Film, TV, and Theater acting styles. Bay Area Acting Studio is the only school in the Bay Area that educates their young actors in the different styles and techniques. Most schools focus just on theater and many of our young actors also want to work in TV/commercials and film. Casting will not book the child if they are too theatrical for camera. Learning and understanding the styles is crucial.
This academy is designed for ALL LEVELS of Kids/Teen actors, ages 8-17. Students will be workshopping scenes that are age appropriate. No prior acting experience is required. For those with prior acting training, we will help to push them further into their art!
