This job shadow opportunity will allow you to learn about the finance and accounting function in a global manufacturing organization and how the finance team interacts with Sales/Marketing, Human Resources, Manufacturing and Research & Development. We'll throw in some numbers too!
Job Shadow is with Ann Joseph, Chief Financial Officer for D.D. Williamson (DDW). DDW is the world leader in caramel color and a leading provider of natural colors in the food and beverage industry. DDW operates 9 natural coloring operations on 5 continents.
The student will be invited to the workplace from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on a mutually agreeable date. Aspects of the job will be shared with the student as well as a tour of the facility (please wear closed-toe shoes as we will visit the manufacturing / production area). Lunch will be provided on site unless other arrangements are made with the parent.
Item Special Note
This auction item is for a high school aged student only (16 years or older). Parent will sign a waiver and make arrangements to bring the student to the job shadow. Parents may sign up on behalf of their child.
This job shadowing experience is good through January 1, 2016.
A certificate will be mailed to the winner. Please allow two to three weeks for delivery.
