One week use of an oceanfront, 3 bedroom (1 with a queen; 2 with 2 twins) 2 bath condo in Duck, NC. Hear the waves from the Atlantic only 120 ft. from this oceanfront condo.
Stroll along the beach or swim in the ocean or adjacent pool. Visit the Wright Brothers National Memorial Park and tour the museum and buildings at the site of man's first flight. Visit the Cape Hatteras and Corolla lighthouses, and chance a glimpse of the wild Spanish ponies that roam the area. Play golf, parasail, take an eco-tour of the area, or take in the play "The Lost Colony," the story of the first settlers on the Outer Banks who mysteriously disappeared. Tour the Army Research Pier, a fascinating attraction worth an afternoon. The facility was created to study the dynamic processes of barrier islands. Over the years, a wealthy of data gathered during hurricanes and Nor'easters have helped planners and builders better understand the impact of wind, water and waves on coastal construction.
Hatteras Village is homeport for the island's famous charter fishing fleet. Nearby offshore Gulf Stream Waters offers bottom fishing for Snapper, Dolphin, Grouper, Trigger Fish and Sea Bass. Flounder, Croaker, Sea Bass, Bluefish and Trout can be caught in the inshore waters.
