Item Description
Chef Tanneau-Kervran always knew he wanted to be a Chef. At 12 he was encouraged to follow his dream by the extraordinary Chef Paul Février, who helped to guide him towards his culinary education. He began in Brittany, where he spent several seasons working in renowned establishments such as L’Hôtel de Bretagne, Chez Pierre, and the starred Michelin restaurant La Taupinière. He went on with his career at Les Hauts de Port Royal and the Hostellerie le Vieux Logis, two other Michelin starred restaurants just outside Paris. During his military service, he was sent to the U.S. where he cooked for the French admiral representing NATO in Norfolk, VA, and subsequently spent nine years at the Michelin-starred La Rive in Amsterdam as second in charge. But he knew he wanted to return to the U.S. and jumped on the opportunity to serve as Chef to the Ambassador of the Netherlands in Washington, DC.
Now, Chef Tanneau-Kervran is the Chef for the Ambassador of France and he wants to make you dinner. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for six people to dine like the French Ambassador with Chef Tanneau-Kervran preparing a meal in your home. You will work with Chef to prepare your perfect menu and we will provide you up to $500 to cover the cost of the food. To sweeten the deal, enjoy three bottles of Cote Mas Cremant de Limoux Brut, a sparkling wine defined by its intense and refined nose of honey, acacia and crystallized lemon lead way to a harmonious palate of citrus fruits.
