Item Description
This item would be a lovely addition to your home or the perfect gift for your special teacher. This original Plein Air painting on canvas was created by Karen Blume, grandmother to a Carver student.
Ms. Blume is a native California artist who grew up in Pasadena. In 1986, she received her bachelor degree in Fine Arts from Fullerton State College after having raised her children in the beach community of Orange County. Ms. Blume has studied Plein Air painting with the Art Institute of Southern California in Aix En Provence, France. Her paintings have been selected for many juried shows and hang in corporate offices as well as private homes. She was also featured at the Old Mill in San Marino for one of the California Art Club exhibits.
