Item Description
Be the winning bidder on an Anne Irons original watercolor titled "Hanging Heliconia"!
Anne Irons-Palma has lived in Honolulu for over forty years. After teaching art for ten years at Kamehameha and Punahou in Hawaii, Anne left the classroom to pursue art in earnest. Since that time, she has won many awards in juried shows, both in Hawaii and on the mainland, including "Best of Show" in six different types of exhibitions. Anne's paintings and prints are included in the State Foundation of Culture and the Arts, The Contemporary Museum, as well as many corporate and private collections.
"Watercolor and acrylic have been my staple. I enjoy the spontaneity of water based media and the portability of it allowing painting outside directly from Hawaii's abundant stimuli." Anne is represented in many galleries but has donated this watercolor to benefit the Red Cross in their humanitarian mission.
