San Francisco Machine Works was founded by Kyle Brutschy, a machinist with thirty years’ experience supplying high precision components to the aerospace and medical industries in Silicon Valley job shops.
Kyle’s past projects include parts for Lockheed Martin’s Gravity Probe B, the extraordinarily accurate spacecraft designed to test Einstein’s general theory of relativity. Kyle also made a Trimble GPS receiver for the highest bedrock survey station in the world on Everest’s South Col, as well as parts for Stanford Linear Accelerator, Raychem, Watkins Johnson, Southwall Technologies and Stryker.
Kyle founded San Francisco Machine Works to provide the same high quality mechanical components to the growing San Francisco manufacturing and creative design community at a competitive price.
