Item Description
"Black Squirrel and Pine Cones" earthenware pasta bowl by Laura Zindel Design (15"x15"x3.5") Hand wash only.
This bowl is part of the "Woodlands" series. Laura Zindel is an artist and designer who combines her passion for ceramics and naturalist illustration into unique housewares and objets d'art. A ceramist by training, Laura has always loved to draw with a pencil. Each illustration is drawn with a graphite pencil before it is silkscreened with enamel and made into a ceramic transfer. Each piece is then hand-painted, decorated and fired three times. Laura Zindel Design, a collaboration of Laura and her husband, Thorsten Lauterbach, has been creating beautiful objects for the home since 1997.
Laura's work is widely appreciated and found in Barney's, Neiman Marcus, West Elm, the Museum of Art and Design and has been featured on Oprah.com.
