Item Description
2009 Chàteau Arnauton Fronsac
The basic cuvee, the 2009 Arnauton (98% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc). A sleeper of the vintage, its opaque purple hue is followed by sweet aromas of blueberries, blackberries, charcoal, incense, and graphite. 90-92 points Robert Parker.
2011 Joseph Drouhin Meursault Chardonnay
A beautiful golden color and a great aromatic palate: honey, linden flower 'tilleul', hazelnut butter, sometimes even chamomile or hawthorn. On the palate, a silky roundness. Long on the aftertaste, with flavors of yellow plum and gingerbread.
2013 Clos Ste Magdeleine Rose Cassis
Made from equal parts of Grenache and Cinsault and Mourvèdre, this wine is appreciated for its perfume of fern, lemon and a touch of fruits when in mouth. Thanks to its freshness, it makes your aperitif and drinks smart and glamourous. It comes very well with your meals too. Wine Spectator gave the 2013 vintage a score of 91.
2011 Labastide Dauzac Margaux
2011 Labastide Dauzac has a powerful nose of red fruit, especially when the wine is swirled in the glass. The bouquet also reveals hints of vanilla and cinnamon. The wine shows plenty of stuffing from the moment it hits the palate, with a concentration that bodes well for future ageing.
2012 Blason de Bourgogne Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir has a generous nose of a whole basket-full of soft berries, equally split between red (strawberries and cherries) and black (blackberries and blueberries). The wine is effortlessly elegant with a precise balance of concentration, freshness, and energy.
2009 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Les Origines
The 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Origines (1,500 cases produced) is a blend of 50% Grenache, a whopping 30% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah with the latter two components spending time in new oak barrels. All of the fruit comes from vines that are nearly 70 years of age. A great wine with an opaque ruby/purple color, sensational fruit intensity and notes of graphite, lavender, licorice, lead pencil shavings and subtle smoke, it is full-bodied, rich and powerful with low acidity and sweet, velvety tannins. It should drink well for 15+ years.
