Item Description

SDI5194 - "A Winegrower's Work is Never Done" - 18x24" frame, printed on Moab Slickrock Metallic Pearl 260 fine art paper: late morning on an overcast mid-January day, I captured this photo of a cultivator hand-pruning a block of Merlot vines at Cline Cellars in Sonoma's Carneros District.  It's hard work, and repetitive-stress injuries are common - yet, without the diligent efforts of these folks, there would be no grapes to make wine!  The colors in this print are true to the atmospherics on that day; I made only the slightest of adjustments and sent the image directly to the printer.   I love the way that this picture came out - it reflects the mood of the day almost perfectly.

About photographer Don Strimbu:

“For wine lovers, I make and sell affordable wine-related photo art for people to showcase in their homes.  Not everyone can live in Wine Country, but I can help you bring that feeling to your home.

For wine makers, I shoot and produce unique photography products to help you tell your story.  Capturing the tradition, art and science of your wine-making achievement helps me create memorable signature images that you will want to display and market to your guests.”
