Item Description
SDI3450 - "Hope, Pride & Excitement" - 18x24" frame, printed on Moab Slickrock Metallic Pearl 260 fine art paper: on 18 November 2014, I was walking along West Dry Creek Road near Quivira Vineyards, looking to capture the early winter state of the Dry Creek vineyards. I was amazed to find this block of new plantings, still vital and green, while the old vines directly behind them were well into their post-autumn colors. As I framed the shot, the sun broke through the clouds and I was able to get this beautiful image. Less than a minute later, the sun went away... for the rest of the day. Skill is one thing... but luck is amazing!
