Item Description

Here is a package with theater and dinner!

It’s nonstop laughs aboard the Twentieth Century, a luxury train traveling from Chicago to New York City. Luck, love and mischief collide when the bankrupt theater producer Oscar Jaffee (Peter Gallagher) embarks on a madcap mission to cajole glamorous Hollywood starlet Lily Garland (Kristin Chenoweth) into playing the lead in his new, non-existent epic drama. But is the train ride long enough to reignite the spark between these former lovers, create a play from scratch, and find the money to get it all the way to Broadway?  This hilarious Tony-winning musical comedy from lyricist-librettists Betty Comden and Adolph Green (Singin’ in the Rain) and composer Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity) is a must see.

Also, in the show is James Moye (from Million Dollar Quartet & Bullets Over Broadway), who you can see sing at TUNES IN TIMES SQUARE again this year.  James plays Max and is the understudy for Oscar Jaffee (a role that he has already played in the show fantastically.)  After the show, you and your guest will get an exclusive backstage tour with James Moye and go home with a signed program.

This new production is sure to be a serious candidate for winning at the Tony's, so you wouldn't want to miss it!

To make this a complete package, we have a not-to-miss dining offer to enjoy before or after the show (or at another time).   A pioneer in the revival of 42nd Street and Broadway tradition since 1986, Chez Josephine is a bubbly return to the joie-de-vivre of Paris of the 1930s – le Jazz Hot with soul.  A tribute to Josephine Baker, the restaurant and its live music exude theatrical panache.  The eclectic menu reinvents the traditional cuisine of the French bistro in an explosion of tantalizing flavors.  Ideally located in the heart of the theater district and just a couple of blocks from On the 20thCentury, this is a magnet for pre-theater dining and one our personal favorites for after-theater dining as well.
