It's time to get a taste of what's happening at Mayfield, the latest hot spot from chef's Greene Hill uncle Lev Gewirtzman (formerly of Ouest) and Jacques Belanger (formerly of MP Taverna). The menu celebrates American food, gussied up, with dishes like fried quail with spoonbread, a burger, a fancy BLT, and cauliflower soup with Peekytoe crab. And it's really, really delicious.
