Each session is 45-50 minutes, located in the Ditmas Park section of Brooklyn.
Alexander lessons promote health and wellness on many levels:
The Alexander Technique is a method of bodywork that teaches peace and deep relaxation, and offers a gentle whole-body approach to building core strength. It offers a clear step by step path to realizing our physical/performance potential, a reliable way to relieve chronic pain, and a method of gentle self-care that is effective at any age as well as for differently abled persons.
If you or someone you love would like to:
- use their body more efficiently
- reduce stress and anxiety
- address movement issues
- overcome blocks to improving performance in any form of physical activity (instrumental / vocal performance, dance, sports activities, public speaking, physical labor)
For persons who struggle with chronic and unresolved issues such as:
- chronic stress / anxiety
- incomplete trauma recovery
- unresolved back or neck pain
- recurring sports injury
- habits of tension or strain in any practice of performance (music, dance, acting, or any work setting which requires repetition of particular physical positions or movement patterns that may create pain or tension)
- problems with uneven gait
- chronic / unexplained joint pain
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
The Alexander Technique may offer you relief where no other method has.
