You are bidding on a Charles Krug 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum signed by Peter Mondavi, Sr., Marc Mondavi, and Peter Mondavi, Jr. (1.5L.).

Their vineyards in Yountville produce Cabernet Sauvignon of exceptional intensity and complexity. This polished wine opens with aromas of black cherry, currant and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, cocoa and cassis blend with supple tannins that lead to a graceful, elegant finish.

Charles Krug, Napa Valley's first winery, established in 1861, has been owned and operated by the Peter Mondavi Family for three generations. Family tradition is the foundation of their winemaking and grape growing on their Napa Valley vineyard estates.

Item Special Note

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense.

For planning, note that the pick up days are Friday, March 27, 2015 and Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.

Wine is shipped via AIM Mail Center. Here are the special notes in regards to shipping wine:

1. All wine requires a wine shipper in addition to any shipping and/or insurance charges. The price of a wine shipper for a magnum is $10 and the estimated shipping cost for the West Coast is $29 and $36 to the East Coast (not including Alaska and Hawaii). Actual shipping will be charged at time of shipping. Magnum bottles cannot be combined with other bottles.

2. Wine is shipped “adult signature required” and the delivery must be signed for, it cannot be left without a signature. There is an additional $7.50 charge for this and it cannot be waived.

3. Wine can be shipped to the following 30 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. If a state is not listed, state law prohibits wine from being shipped there.
