Created by Max Fleischer in 1930, Betty Boop is a beloved animated screen siren who has been featured in comic strips, cartoons and movies, and has been licensed in virtually every retail category worldwide for eighty years. This artist’s proof of animation art is hand-painted and hand-inked on celluloid over an original watercolor background. It is signed by Max Fleischer’s son, director Richard Fleischer, in gold ink above the word ‘Properietor.’ This package also includes a photo, circa 1931, of Max Fleischer with several of his original Fleischer Studios employees, including cartoon director Seymour Kneitel and legendary animator Myron Waldman, Own this collectible piece and connection with animation history.
