Item Description
"Over my thirty years in education, Mr. Tufflis camp is the most diverse athletic and educational experience available to elementary age children in the area." says Tom Ladouceur, Principal, Green Valley School. With 16 years in existence, Tuffli All Sport Camp teaches life skills through sport with a focus on fun, not scores. Designed for kids with little to lots of sports experience, this camp offers fun and exciting activities that will not only improve sport skills but positive life skills as well. Modified versions of traditional sports such as soccer, baseball, and basketball will be offered as well as games such as capture the rubber pig, chicken run, and create-a-game. Emphasizes skill level and social differences by giving choices on activities and the intensity of participation. Games are created to foster positive team play and respect for all participants. Games and activities are designed to increase the likelihood of success and highlights. Having success and looking at the positives, highlights helps to develop the campers self-esteem, the value placed on who we are and self-concept, the perception of strengths and weaknesses. June 15-19, 2015 and July 20-24, 2015, girls and boys grades 1-6, Greenbrook Elementary in Danville. tufflicamps.com. Generously donated by Tuffli All Sports Camps / Blake & Kendall Tuffli.
