Item Description
Produced and bottled by the Valentine Family with their parents and vintners, Tim and Terry Kennedy, Vite Vecchio is a very limited production, family operated estate grown Zinfandel from the renowned Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, California. Our vines are head pruned and dry farmed in the old-world style. We manage and nurture our vineyard as well as hand craft our wines. Old vines in the truest sense, these small berry clusters yield less than two tons per acre of intensely flavored fruit.
VITE is layered in bright cherry, wild berry jam and cracked black pepper flavors balanced with crisp acidity and supple tannins, which result in a lingering smooth finish. VITE is aged 16 months in French oak. The wine is then bottled unfiltered to retain its intense varietal character.
