Item Description
The 2008 Finca Sandoval Salia Manchuela is a blend of Syrah, Monastrell and Bobal that earned 90 points from Wine Spectator for its "hints of chocolate, espresso and pencil shavings accent this creamy red, featuring layers of ripe black cherry and boysenberry fruit, with aromatic underbrush and olive notes, supple tannins and juicy acidity. Drink now through 2018." The 2010 Muga earned 92 points from Stephen Tanzer who said this Rioja Shows very good spicy lift in the mouth, offering sweet raspberry and cherry flavors and an undercurrent of smoky minerals. Finishes with excellent focus and thrust; the slowly building tannins meld smoothly with the wine's dense fruit. Age this wine for at least another five years, with confidence. Finally, enjoy the 2011 Tomas Cusine 'Vilosell' Tinto, Costers del Segre for the super label as much as the delicious Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot, Samso and Garnacha blend inside the bottle.
