This brooch is a minature and wearable work of art that blends carved wood and reused pieces of unwanted jewelry donated to Radical Jewelry Makeover, New Mexico. The piece was made by art jeweler, Brian Fleetwood, and measures 3" in length.

Radical Jewelry Makeover is a traveling community jewelry mining and recycling project. It is a creative art education project, teaching makers how to produce fresh jewelry from recycled sources. RJM proudly places responsible jewelry in the hands of consumers. The overall project raises awareness of the connection between mining and metalsmithing, reconsiders our habits of consumption and showcases innovative making.
