- Trio Jean Paul - Wednesday, April 22, 2015 Longy's Pickman Hall, 8pm Chamber music devotees will not want to miss Boston's introduction to Trio Jean Paul, an illustrious two-decade chamber music institution that plays with a refined wit and poetic intensity worthy of its literary muse, the German Romantic poet, Jean Paul.
- The Terence Blanchard E-Collective and the Ravi Coltrane Quartet - Saturday, April 25, 2015 Berklee Performance Center, 8pm A five-time Grammy Award winner and renowned film-score and soundtrack composer, trumpeter Terence Blanchard is one of the great renaissance men of jazz. Grammy-nominated saxophonist and Blue Note recording artist, Ravi Coltrane, son of legendary saxophonist John Coltrane, has matured into a compelling artist at the height of a career built on his talent, not his name. No Boston jazz fan will want to miss this exciting double-bill.
- Alisa Weilerstein & Inon Barnatan - Friday, May 1, 2015 NEC's Jordan Hall, 8pm Cellist Alisa Weilerstein's breathtaking technique combine with passion and musicianship to make her one of today's most exciting artists. Her frequent collaborator, Inon Barnatan, is a true poet of the keyboard: refined, searching, and unfailingly communicative.
Other Performance dates include May 8th, May 9th, May 15th, and May 15-17th.
