Item Description
Join us for an evening of cooking. Learn how to plan and prepare delicious dishes that will break the boredom of weeknight meals for the family. Sam Mehra, Nueva parent, will teach us all how to prepare meals that are prepped in advance, yet fresh and flavorful to eat, as well as how to shop seasonally and in bulk and transform raw ingredients into various completely different dishes. In addition to a full stomach, participants will depart with tried and tested restaurant-level recipes and tips like making your own mayonnaise and salad dressing to enhance simple dishes. Sam Mehra, life-long cook, recently completed a culinary course at the San Francisco Cooking School. She has lived and traveled internationally and is inspired by the wealth of ingredients around us in the Bay Area. This will take place on the evening of Thursday, October 1, 2015.
