They'll belly up to the oldest stand-up bar in the city, find out where the Grasshopper was invented, get the real scoop on absinthe, learn the origins of the Sazerac and discover hidden gems where locals have been imbibing for centuries.
Each stop will feature a classic cocktail (included in ticket price), and Dr. Gumbo will give them the history behind them!
They will visit 4 venues including the timeless and incomparable Tujague’s! The last bar also happens to be in one of the best and oldest restaurants in the city in case they need some food to "soak things up"!
For those looking to take the party further, they'll be just a few short blocks to another lively nightlife district: Frenchmen Street in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood!

Person redeeming Gift Certificate must contact Doctor Gumbo (doctorgumbo@doctorgumbo.com or 504-473-4823) at least 48 hours prior to desired tour date. We go rain or shine. Food will be available for purchase at certain stops. All cocktails are vegan-friendly. There is a dress code at some venues so tank tops and open-toe shoes (flip-flops) are discouraged. Total distance of the tour is approximately one mile, so wear your fancy shoes if you want to!
