Autumn Family Yoga "Harvesting Your Bond" with CLWS Parent and Yoga Instructor, Kelly Shay
Fall back and trust not only the season of change but the harvesting of your bond. The bond that strengthens despite the storms, that builds longevity through generations, that supports creativity and individuality, and enhances our unconditional love. With visualizations and meditations of where we desire to be, who we strive to be and already are, we will capture a moment in time where we are rewarded with the reaping of the seeds we’ve planted. Our colors radiate by the movements we intuitively feel, by the guidance we are open to receive, and the light our hearts shine for each other and our community. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one (some will be on hand), water, and a blanket.
About Kelly: Kelly Shay discovered an authentic practice where movement and breath connected with spirit in 2002 when in college studying family social science, youth studies, theater, and music production. Over a decade later her service has been throughout the Twin Cities community with a focus on enriching the lives of others through environmental sustainability, youth and family work, community engagement, artistic expression, and mind/body wellness. Kelly develops workshops and retreats for girls, women, and families and has been trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and brings her passion to schools, community centers, farms, and yoga studios.
