Let’s embrace and soak up that summer sun right beside Lake of the Isles as we move with the current and rhythm of our family. Sun salutations, inner-warrior manifestations, building strong foundations while we revive and thrive our sacred relation. A natural space infused with games that focus on breath awareness, balance, cooperation and trust. We find ourselves connecting to nature, with members of our family, and a state of courage where growth develops further. Bring a yoga mat or towel and water.
About Kelly: Kelly Shay discovered an authentic practice where movement and breath connected with spirit in 2002 when in college studying family social science, youth studies, theater, and music production. Over a decade later her service has been throughout the Twin Cities community with a focus on enriching the lives of others through environmental sustainability, youth and family work, community engagement, artistic expression, and mind/body wellness. Kelly develops workshops and retreats for girls, women, and families and has been trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and brings her passion to schools, community centers, farms, and yoga studios.
Where: at Lake of the Isles in the green space across from the church/soccer field where the 6th grade soccer practice is held (Kelly will email specific location as date arrives)
When: Friday, July 10th, 2-3:30 pm
How much: $25 per family, up to 10 adults and 20 children
