Item Description
Back with a new twist, a very special afternoon of painting and tea for you and your child. Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Come explore the works of Vincent van Gogh and his beautiful series of Sunflowers under the guidance of Oak Knoll's very own Mr. Almquist, and enjoy the unique opportunity to recreate your own version. Van Gogh, one of the great post-impressionist artists who is well known for his unique brush strokes and thick application of paint, only sold one painting while he was alive. Today, Van Gogh's Sunflowers are estimated to be worth around $84.5 million. A lunch of sweet and savory treats, tea, and other beverages will be prepared by professional chefs Courtney Gillette and Andrea Potischman, and served to you and your child while you work side-by-side on your own personal Van Gogh painting. This is a fun parent and child event. Each spot is for one parent/child pair. BUY A SPOT FOR $125 (12 SPOTS AVAILABLE).
