Item Description
A Rockette Remembers - Hardcover Book
A Rockette Remembers: Tales from A High-Kicking Life is the story of one of the best-known and loved Radio City Music Hall Rockettes - Corliss Fyfe Whitney. Corliss was the youngest Rockette in the line when she joined at 18 years old in 1947. Her dance skills and upbeat attitude inspired many during the 60 amazing years that followed. Read about her role in the unionization of the Rockettes, her years as a business owner of Corliss on the Bay in Fire Island, and her return to performing as a "Senior Stepper" and "Ms. Senior America" contestant.
That Corliss happened to be the grandmother of Ava Whitney '18 is just a plus.
Makes a fantastic Mother's Day gift!
