Item Description
This one-box share from Bloomsfield Organics is perfect for a single member household containing 60-70% of the full share. It contains enough vegetables and fresh produce to satisfy much of the weekly vegetable needs of an individual. Each week we will carefully select the freshest crops from Bloomfield Farms and thoughtfully craft a generous selection for you. You can count on salad greens, cooking greens, root vegetables and an assortment of other seasonal herbs and produce growing on the farm.
You will also receive a dozen pasture-raised eggs.
Bloomfield Organics is a 45-acre organic family farm between the villages of Bloomfield and Valley Ford in SouthWest Sonoma County (on the border with Marin County). Our Chief Farmer Mike Colllins, has over 35 years developed a deep passion for working with the land. Mike gained his Master’s Degree in Olericulture (science of vegetables) from UC Davis. It was through this formal education as well as his extensive international agriculture experience where he first developed his interest in Sustainable Agriculture, Heirloom Varietals and Permaculture. The soils and climate we farm in the Estero Americano watershed make for perfect conditions for cultivating prized cool-weather varietals ranging from Spinach and Strawberries to Broccoli as well as many unique crops such as Spigarello and Verdolaga.

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days. Due to the shape and/or size of this item, it cannot be shipped.

For freshest quality, please plan to pick up on Friday, March 27th 2015 after 3:00pm. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
