Item Description
Choose between Four 1 Hour OR Five 45 Minute Violin/Fiddle Lessons taught by Ima Jonsdottir.
Ima along with being a Mason-Rice Parent is a professional violinist and fiddler who has traveled the world performing with various groups and musicians at festivals and concert halls.
- Ima has toured with Bjork, the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, The Klezmer Conservatory Band, Andromeda4, and Know Orchestra.
- She has played at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Club Passim, New England Conservatory of Music, and at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge where she was in the house band.
- Ima has also made appearances on the TV European Music Awards and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
- Ima teaches a variety of musical styles, classical, Klezmer, Celtic, pop. She has had her own teaching studio for the past 18 years.
Item Special Note
Lessons dates and times to be mutually agreed upon with Mason-Rice parent Ima Jonsdottir. The shorter lessons are more suitable to younger students.
