Marcus Daniels
The creations of master hair colorist, Marcus Daniels, like the man himself, defy expectations. Refreshingly unpretentious, direct, and more than a little irreverent, Daniels devotes his artistic and technical skills to helping clients reveal their inner truth via an outer expression-namely the way they wear their hair.
For two decades, the Los Angeles native has worked as a professional hair colorist and has been intrigued by the effects of color changes upon a client’s appearance and even mood and personality.
Known nationally and internationally, he has colored the tresses of many A-list celebrities including Mickey Rourke, Famke Jannsen, Faith Hill, Courtney Thorne Smith, Tori Spelling, Candy Spelling, Samantha Morton, Gretchen Moll, Gloria Estefan, Jewel, Rachel Hunter, David Lynch, Keith Urban, Paula Abdul, Alex van Halen, Tiffany, Carrie Fishe, Enrique Iglesias, Dixie Chicks, Garth Brook’s, Wendi Murdoch, Stacy Keible, Simon Cowell and Jane Krawkowski.
Internationally, Marcus has worked for L’Oreal Professionnel in both Japan and Paris. He has worked at John Barrett Salon’s Penthouse at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, as well as Frederick Fekkai on both coasts, and Cristophe and Giuseppe Franco Salons in Beverly Hills.
Most recently, Daniels was named one of the top 40 colorists in the US by BE Magazine.
