Item Description
Bonjour Broadway! Win this item and you and a guest will fly business class from San Francisco to New York City and watch the highly anticipated new Broadway show An American in Paris. This stunning production arrived on Broadway on March 13, following its sold-out engagement in Paris. The French press was giddy with enthusiasm for this Gershwin musical: “A masterpiece, a true marvel that will move you the way one feels when encountering grace and perfection. Could your night be any more perfect?” (Paris Match). “A True Miracle! This spectacular adaptation almost makes us forget the film classic, while enticing the desire to watch it again. It’s a hell of a pleasure. Like walking on cloud nine!” (Le Monde). “A Brilliant Triumph! A bold, breathtaking love letter to the great American musical.” (The Times [London]).
The lucky winners of this package will head to a night at the Palace Theater to watch from VIP Producer’s seats as the Academy Award–winning film classic is born anew as a spectacular Broadway musical. After the show, the winners will journey backstage, accompanied by a member of the An American in Paris team, and will receive a behind-the-scenes, VIP tour of the stage and select backstage areas. And to continue the Parisian/NYC experience, the winners will enjoy dinner at one of New York’s top French restaurants, such as Le Cirque, Jean-Georges, and Le Bernadin, based on availability. C’est magnifique!
But wait, there’s more! You will also enjoy a private lunch with American in Paris producer Tim Kashani and learn what goes into the creation and production of a Broadway musical. Tim produced the Tony Award–winning musicals Memphis and Hair, along with several other Broadway shows.
This show-stopping package includes two business-class United round-trip tickets to New York City from San Francisco, two nights at the New York Palace Hotel, $800 for dinner at a top French restaurant in New York City, two VIP seats to An American in Paris, and a private lunch with American in Paris producer Tim Kashani. Tickets to the show must be booked one month in advance and is subject to seat availability. Comparable hotel and restaurants will be reserved if The New York Palace or top French restaurants are not available at time of booking. The package expires on March 28, 2016, or when the show stops running on Broadway, whichever comes sooner. Lunch with Tim may be scheduled during the winners’ time in New York or separately in the San Francisco Bay Area, depending on Tim’s schedule.
