Item Description
Glamping at its finest. Whether you're a hiker, mountain biker or cross-country skier, the Rolling Huts, located in Washington's Methow Valley, are the perfect accommodation. Designed as a modern alternative to camping by Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig Architects in Seattle, the six huts are grouped as a herd, each with views of the mountains. The the winning bidder will enjoy a Two Night Stay for Two adults. See Special notes for information on kids and dogs.
Item Special Note
Restrictions: The huts will accommodate a maximum of four people.
- Children 12 and under are free.
- The winning bidder may pay an extra $10/night per person for up to 2 add'l adults (13 & up) during their stay.
- They may also pay an extra $25 if they would like to bring their dog or extend their stay by paying the full price of any add'l nights.
Important To Know:
Bidding Extension: Allows for competitive bidding over an item to go on beyond the closing time of the auction on March 27th, as long as bids are placed within 5 minutes of each other. Therefore, if two people are fighting over an item, there will be two winners: the winning bidder and John Hay!
Winning Bidders: All items will be available for pick up at John Hay in early April, during drop off and pick up. More details will be sent out to winning bidders. Please contact us if you need to make other arrangements.
Shipping: If you are local, please make every effort to pick up your items at the school. If we need to ship items to you, please be aware that the winning bidder will be responsible for all shipping charges that apply in addition to the item cost.
