Item Description
Lakhi was just rescued a couple of months ago. She quickly got the nickname the 'banana thief' when she stole some bananas while still on route to the rescue center. Although she is blind, she is quickly adjusting to life at the rescue center. She has befriended 'Asha' who helps her navigate around the facility.
Quote from Tori Carpenter: "I'm so touched by rescue animals and their healing journeys once gifted with care and kindness. In this painting, I tried to capture Lakhi and her cautious stretching into freedom."
Painting is 11" x 14" and painted using acrylics.
Item Special Note
Tori Carpenter has been working as a miniature artist and sculptor for the last several years, and turned to painting recently.
