Item Description
Measuring 24 1/2 inches in height, this original early c.1940's vintage american exterior theater marquee cast aluminum "changeable" letter sign was created by the Adler Silhouette Letter Co., from Chicago, IL. The earliest type of this particular sign letter was likely designed and patented by Benjamin H. Adler in the lat 1920's.
In the 1940s the Orpheum was purchased by the Paramount Pictures chain, and renamed, "The Paramount." Thus the letter "T".
