Item Description
AN EXCEPTIONAL CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE!
A Week of Day Camp on Children's Island
For almost 60 years, the YMCA's Children's Island Day Camp has provided the North Shore with a unique and wonderful camp experience. Located on a picturesque 25-acre island one mile off the coast of Marblehead and Salem, campers swim at three beaches and in the pool, take to the seas on sailboats and kayaks, play sports, build crafts, practice archery, discover marine life, and learn Native American lore and survival skills in the Ranger program. Picnic areas, lodges for indoor activities and bathroom facilities complete this island environment for a fun filled camp experience not to be forgotten. With fun and exciting options for all ages, including specialty camps that allow participants to focus on specialized skills, Children's Island campers "unplug" and get back to rustic camp activities, making friendships that last a lifetime.
