Item Description
Join us any Sunday-Thursday from 5-7pm at Mortar & Pestle Bar at Curry Up Now San Mateo for two hours of tasting six of the finest whiskeys from around the world. Price includes delicious appetizers from Curry Up Now. Pour List: Homestead, is a small batch barrel proof bourbon: Homestead Bourbon styles itself as a "barrel proof" bourbon and is indeed bottled at a relatively high 113.4 abv. Amrut Fusion: Jim Murray of Whisky Bible name Amrut the Third Finest Whisky in the World for 2010. Amrut Fusion is distilled from barley from Scotland and India, making this a true fusion of countries. Armorik: French Single Malt: Armorik is made very much in the style of single malt Scotch. Stalk and Barrel: The Stalk and Barrel is a single malt whisky form Canada and part of the new breed of ever increasing quality whisky coming from Canada. Kilchoman Machir Bay: Produced at the artisan farm distillery Kilchoman, Machir Bay 2013 is a delicious vatting of five year old bourbon-matured whisky, and four year old bourbon-matured and Oloroso-finished malt. Nikka Coffee Grain: A release of grain whisky from Japan's Nikka, produced mainly from corn using one of their continuous Coffey stills.
