Item Description
Ceres Chef, Rob Hogencamp, once managed this jewel of a country resort lodge. Located 26 miles outside of Yosemite Valley, the Bug offers a clean, relaxed and social atmosphere. There a variety of affordable accommodations and amenities, including great food and spa services.
Guest Comments:
I've stayed here a few times over the years, and done a few day (night) trips just for the spa. It's truly a great spot. Whether looking for a hostel-style cheap place to stay, or a romantic weekend, or something with a family - the Bug has it all. Tent cabins, hostel dorms, and private cabins. Comfy beds, clean rooms, clean bathrooms. There's a communal kitchen if you want to cook your own food, but their cafe is shockingly good - vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and decent beer and wine too. There's a big lounge with couches and fireplace (and board games).
Yosemite Bug is like summer camp for grown-ups. I loved it.
Great and recommended mountain vacation spot if you're looking to stay around Yosemite National Park with cheaper prices than in Yosemite.
