Item Description
This stunning rosary is made from hand formed clay that has been fired in the same fire where the tortillas are cooked in rural homes in Guatemala. The women collect the clay from the river areas where they gather water and bring it back to their homes to share and fire the clay beads. This opportunity gives women a little extra income without much investment in terms of materials or fuel to meet the needs of their family. The final display is combined with beads by Casa de los Gigantes to complete this one of a kind rosary.
