Item Description
This 1.5L Magnum bottle of the 2088 Le Moulin Rouge from Peter Michael Winery is a real treat. The fruit for Le Moulin Rouge is grown on the slopes of the Pisoni Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. The coastal soil and climate contribute a dense yet delicate richness, and add to the wine's complexity. The clone, originally selected from a celebrated Burgundy Grand Cru, is showcased in concentrated perfume and distinct varietal expression. Typically this bottling shows the power and weight possible with Pinot Noir. The name translates to "The Red Mill" and is named after the infamous Parisian nightclub.
