Tari Ann is a holistic health coach, urban farmer and food justice activist living and working in New York City. A city dweller for most of her life, Tari was deeply impacted by the two years she spent living on the rural west coast of Puerto Rico where she had the ability to pick fresh mangoes, avocados and countless other fruits and vegetables mere moments before meals. Gathering newly laid eggs and harvesting pigeon pea beans with her grandmother for special family meals are some of her most precious food memories. It is from this rich tradition that Tierra Sana Holistics was born. “Healthy earth” speaks to respecting and upholding the sanctity and health of the Earth we live on but also speaks to the need for all beings to be grounded in what is healthy and balanced for each individual.
