Item Description
2011 Kosta Browne Russian River Pinot Noir
92 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar - "Deep ruby. Heady scents of raspberry, cherry-cola, floral oil, Asian spices and vanilla. Juicy and penetrating, with superb inner-mouth perfume to its sweet red fruit and candied rose flavors. Becomes spicier with air and finishes with excellent clarity, breadth and persistence."
2011 Kosta Browne Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
90 points Wine Spectator - "Fresh and vibrant, with zesty, snappy raspberry and wild berry that’s tight and well-balanced, this gains richness and depth on the licorice-accented finish. Drink now through 2020." (9/2013)
2011 Kosta Browne Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
The Santa Lucia Highlands is one of the crown jewels of California viticulture, growing and producing some of the state’s best cool climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. Our 2011 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is a blend of five vineyards: Gary, Pisoni, Rosella, Sierra Mar and Soberanes. These vineyards are located in the heart of the Santa Lucia Highlands and are built upon a tradition of high quality hand-winegrowing.
This wine displays deep notes of orange peel, cherries, and five spice, and is supported by hints of ginger, strawberry and rhubarb.
