Do you love singing--but you wish you could sing better? Make your dream come true with voice lessons, then join us for a newVoices rehearsal. If your singing is only confined to the shower OR if you're an intermediate vocalist, you'll learn some tips and techniques that can make singing more joyful for you. Your teacher is Carol Jegen, a founding member of newVoices and an experienced vocal instructor. Your package includes:
- 4 one-half hour private voice lessons with Carol.
- When you're comfortable, you can join us for a newVoices rehearsal and see what it feels like to practice with the choir.
- A voucher for two tickets to the newVoices Spring concert, oneVoice: An Ecumenical Community Celebration in Song
- Ages 12 and up
Carol Jegen is an instructor in voice and a lecturer in opera and has been teaching for more than 35 years. Many of her students have gone on to performing careers in opera and musical theatre as well as becoming music teachers.
She teaches in her private studio at Lawrence Academy of Music and has also taught voice at UW-Green Bay and UW-Fox Valley. She studied at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, Aspen and Blossom Music Festivals, Wiesbaden, Germany, Wisconsin Conservatory, and New York.
