Item Description
A perfect experience for anyone who loves the beauty of Wisconsin, but wants to learn more about the roots of our land. From sandstone to dolomite, you'll learn how the rock formations and soils nourished the variety of trees and plantings at the Mosquito Hill Nature Center in New London. Your guide for the trek will be our resident "rock star" Dr. Beth A. Johnson, Professor of Geology at UW-Fox Valley, and a member of newVoices ensemble. Beth never takes the geology of Wisconsin for granite (oh, bad pun) and will give you an exciting, energetic and info-packed hike!
