They make fresh, seasonal jams from organic fruit sourced within 150 miles of our Emeryville kitchen. By sourcing produce directly from local organic farmers they're able to get the best possible fruit - fruit that’s picked ripe and is absolutely fresh. The INNA Jam Gift Set, contains two signature jams and a shrub.
Local and organic, this set contains Meyer LEMON jam, is a balance between the wonderfully tart lemony bite, the bitter tinge distinctive of citrus marmalades, and the luscious sweetness (but not-too-sweet) typical of our jams.
Also the plenty spicy JALAPEO, our most popular jam. Its spicier than other pepper jellies because we use the entire pepper, seeds and all! This results in a spicy-sweet and completely addictive jam with distinct jalapeno flavors. This jam makes a fabulous appetizer paired with crackers and cream cheese (or any cheese, really).
The Tayberry Shrub has a long tradition as a refreshing beverage going all the way back to the Colonial Era, but it actually originated a thousand years ago in the Middle East! Like our jams, shrubs are an excellent way to preserve the harvest of our gorgeous fruit when it is at it's most perfectly ripe. In making our shrubs we use the whole fruit (not just the juice), and cold-cure the shrubs to maximize depth and complexity of flavor. The vinegar and sugar both help to preserve and capture the fleeting fruit flavors while balancing each other out to make a sweet-tart syrup that a perfect base for a drink. Mixed with sparkling water it's the most refreshing drink we've ever had. Of course, it's also great in cocktails.
