The winner of this item is entitled to one Nitsanim program participation. Nitsanim is a mini-camp "Taste of Gilboa" program that introduces children entering 3rd and 4th grade to the experience of Jewish sleep-away camp.
Gilboa offers a truly unique and vibrant Jewish camping experience for youth ages 8 to 17. Our overnight summer camp, on 40 acres of pine forest near the shores of Bluff Lake, is just a short drive from downtown Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains. At Camp Gilboa, campers engage in spirited activities and team-building adventures that expand minds and enrich souls.
Since 1936, Camp Gilboa has provided summer and winter camps, creative leadership training and year-round programming. By nurturing a love of Israel and Jewish tradition, our youth strive for a better world - grounded in the values of social and economic justice, peaceful coexistence, environmental stewardship and mutual respect. Campers experience a kibbutz-style, cooperative living environment that cultivates self-reliance and community awareness.
