Item Description

For years, CAIS moms have enjoyed the “CAIS Moms’ Tea.”  Envious dads have spent the afternoon with the kids while their wives put on their most chic outfits to imbibe on mimosas, dine on finger sandwiches and enjoy facials in elegant homes.  Denied entry to this exclusive gathering, a group of socialite dads are now pioneering their own “CAIS Dads' Tea".  No champagne flutes, no classical music, no flowers.  We are talking the Dads' Low-Brow Sports Viewing  & Beer Bash.

May 2nd is shaping up to be a great day of sports viewing with NBA and NHL playoffs, MLB games, Kentucky Derby, NFL draft and other sporting events.   Robbie Vann-Adibé, Michael Chang, Suji DeSilva and Ben Ng invite you to Uber on over to Robbie's awesome “man cave” in Cole Valley (parking is crap!).  Watch the events on an 80-in HDTV and hang in the rec room with surround sound, away from the classy  women-folk, partake in grilled bratwursts, kielbasas, and hot links from Berkeley's legendary Top Dog.  For those with a discerning palate, thirst will be quenched with PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon).  Additional manly libations welcomed i.e. feel free to bring a six pack/bottle of your preferred beverage.  Sure, other dads’ fancy events have been bandied about like golf or poker - but really, why break a sweat or risk embarrassing yourself?  No skills of any sort required here.

All CAIS dads are welcome but space is limited to the first 25.  $150/dad.  All proceeds benefit CAIS.  Be a dad - watch sports  and drink beer.
