Dinner for Two Gift card
If you are a seafood lover, here's a real treat for the hungry kitty in you. Uber chef David Lentz (husband to and half the quintessential L.A. power chef duo with Suzanne Goin of Lucques, etc. fame) opened the first The Hungry Cat in Hollywood in 2005 and has since opend posts in Santa Barbara and the one that this certificte is good for in the Santa Monica Canyon arosss from Will Rogers State Beach. Since that time, he has offered the highest quality fish and meats matched with Southern California's abundent seasonal produce.
The result is not simply a seafood house, but a continuously evolving restaurant, following the seasons, but always remaining true to the product. With a focus on the artisan, The Hungry Cat produces its own in-house smoked meats and seafood, curing and pickling, as well as featuring a unique farmers market driven cocktail program, esoteric wine list and rotating local beers. And, no worries if you are a carnivore as they have (only) 2 meat dishes on the menu, a Pug Purger with a fried egg, blue cheese, bacon and avocado or a Dry Aged Manhattan Prime Steak. Otherwise is all seafood, all the time with their raw bar, small and large plates. Meow.
