Item Description
Historic Upstate NY Vacation Home - 4 nights
With 6 bedrooms and 8 baths, the McMullen home is the perfect size for a family or a group. Five bedrooms have an en-suite bath and the sixth bedroom, a separate bath just down the hall. Three bedrooms have queen-size beds, another bedroom has a king and two bedrooms have two twin beds. The spacious home and large dining table with loggia, a grill and additional outdoor dining table are perfect for family dinners, games and more. The chef's kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, utensils, dishes, silverware and glassware. The Steinway grand in the living room is a musician's favorite. The two acre yard has meandering paths to explore and an adventure swing set.
The McMullenhome is located in Glens Falls, conveniently located two hundred miles north of New York City between arts and entertainment rich Saratoga Springs and outdoorsy Lake George, sitting at the base of the Adirondack Mountains. This english tudor style J.R. McMullen home, built in 1929, provides a comfortable locale for one or two or three families to spread out and enjoy all that this family-friendly resort area has to offer. Exceptional hiking, skiing, boating, and biking are all within fifteen minutes' drive or less. If you like the horses or outdoor concerts, Saratoga's Race Track and Performing Arts Center are a scenic drive less than twenty minutes south. Downtown Glens Falls with its restaurants and theatre is a pleasant three-quarter mile walk on tree-lined sidewalks. Crandall Park, full of walking, skiing and biking trails, is across the street.
